Well, hello guys welcome once again to the Humans of EdTech. The blog, we are back after some time we were on a break. The reason is that we rolled out a few videos, but we got some very interesting feedback from each and every one of you.
And we just wanted to make sure that we take that feedback, completely absorb it, act on it, and then kind of more head. So here’s the feedback. And let’s see what the feedback is, and we’ll fix it..
The first thing is that we want to be making shorter videos, some of the videos that we made in the past are 15 minutes, 20 minutes, even 30 minutes. So the feedback very clearly is that make short videos no longer than four minutes. So that’s the point very well noted and we’ll work on it.
As a result of which the decks that we put together for some of these sessions have to be very concise, to the range of six to 10 slides on the higher side, if you need to wrap up something within the four minute mark.
Similarly, we are looking to only focus on a small subsection of a concept within a particular session and not anything really large or big. That will allow us to keep the whole session very light, concise, and to the point.
Whenever we start, especially material that requires you to do some sort of concept building, start from absolute basics, do not have any kind of assumption in your mind.
But topics which require you to present your point of view, still start from the basics, and then kind of present your point of view. So that’s a very strong feedback that we have got and point that we are very, very well noted.
Of course, the look and feel of the videos going forward is more uniform, and we promise that we will be with you every single week. So that’s essentially what the feedback is in its cracks.
So starting from this video, we’re going to keep all the videos very short, concise, to the point, hard hitting, and something that makes absolute value for you.
