I read this book when I started at Cognizant. I was a Sr. Business Analyst. Basically, what we call as Data Scientist today. This book is the perfect bridge between Data Analysis for Management and Data Science.
A perfect partner for the beginners in econometrics. One of the best explanations on Linear Regression and its requirements. Makes you understand the econometric school of thought.
I read all 800 pages of this textbook cover to cover, and I now have a vastly better grasp of econometrics. I could literally apply this while working. This was the best part.
Superb balance between Maths, Theory, Economics, Practice and Application.
