Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture – Book Review

Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture
4.6/5

I recommend this book to all up-and-coming product Managers. This will enable you to build twitter scale deeply technical products.

I read this book after Customer360 was acquired by ININ in 2016. This is a “bird-view” book. It should be read after years of software design experiences. Wish I read this long, long time ago. That would have saved me lot of pain of understanding architecture related things.

A fantastic book, both from a historical and technical context. Missing piece in my holistic understanding of building enterprise applications. Good layout of the patterns which are clearly explained, including the motivation behind them, and examples of their use.

This isn’t a great read from cover to cover, but it is a wonderful reference book.
