Pride and Prejudice – Book Review

Pride-Prejudice-Jane-Austen
4.6/5

Honestly, my vocabulary and English as language improved after reading this book. For the first time, I could feel the flourish in the language. If somebody had told me I’d love a romance before I read this book, I would have laughed derisively.

I have seen at least 2 movies based on this Novel. The book is still much better.

The book for me showcases the power of human observations. The characters and its depth. Austen tells a story through not just words but through behaviour and mannerism of characters.

For a non-native English speaker – book can take a long time to complete and you may need to sit with a dictionary.

It’s a classic. Timeless.
